Easy Party Food! Get ready for your party in no time!
I have a few party staples that my friends always expect to see at my parties, and it just so happens, they are SUPER easy to put together! Here are my top three party appetizers that I can easily slap together in a pinch and they always impress!
Guacamole:
3 Avocados
2 minced cloves of garlic
4 green onions sliced thinly
¼ cup of diced tomatoes
1/2 tablespoon of cumin
4 - 6 leaves of fresh cilantro
Heavy pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of sour cream or greek yogurt
Half a lime juiced
1 tablespoon of chopped pickled jalapenos or fresh
I love this guacamole! It’s super simple to use, and you can build off this base with whatever you prefer!
Start by cutting the avocados in half and scooping out the inside and putting it in a bowl, save at least one seed.
Then mince the garlic and cilantro, slice the green onions, dice the tomatoes, and pickled jalapenos, and put those all in with the avocados and mix.
Next, add the lime juice, salt, sour cream, cumin, and if you have it on hand, hot sauce! Mix that up and then plop the seed back into the mixture, cover with plastic wrap, and let it meld together in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.
Remove the seed, stir, and SERVE!
Artichoke Spinach dip
1 can of quartered artichokes (NOT marinated) chopped
2 - 3 cups of spinach
1 package of reduced-fat cream cheese
1 cup of italian shredded cheese
3 minced cloves of garlic
5 green onions sliced
Pickled jalepenos
Salt
Pepper
This is my go to receipe for any party! Its super easy to make and you can even get everything together the night before and just bake right before the party!
First prep all ingredients and preheat the oven to 350.
Chop up garlic
Chop spinach
Set out the cream cheese to warm up
Chop the pickled jalapenos
Slice green onions
Chop artichoke hearts
After all the ingredients are chopped up, throw them in a mixer to combine on low, then put them into a greased baking dish, top with shredded cheese, and bake for 15 - 25 minutes at 350, or until everything is warmed through.
Bruschetta
2 Garlic cloves minced
2 - 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
4 - 5 Roma Tomatoes diced
10 - 12 leaves of Basil
½ cup diced Onion
1 Baguette
Optional: ½ cup of shredded Italian cheese
Start by mincing the garlic, dicing the onion and tomatoes, slicing the basil, and combining them with olive oil. Slide the baguette to make crustinis by toasting in the oven and then serve either where your guests scoop the bruschetta themselves onto the crustini or go ahead and place a tablespoon or two of the bruschetta on the crustini, option to warm the Italian cheese on the crustini as well. Enjoy!
